and I’m a stained-glass artist based in CA. Inspiration for this work began after stumbling into a family-owned glass shop in my neighborhood.

 

What merely meant to be a peek inside became a three-hour adventure as I was instantly drawn in by all the colors, textures, and possibilities. I was soon enchanted by the history of glass art and felt an intense pull towards the craft.

 

In such a fast-paced society, this space allowed me to escape into a world of creativity and magic, which led way to the name, The Glass Nook. It also allowed me to stop and literally smell the roses, something that so many of us need.

 

I hope that whoever holds one of these pieces will have the chance to exercise a little bit of mindfulness and be inspired to re-connect with nature, as it happened to me.

 

One of my grandmother's special qualities was her green thumb. She spoke to her plants as if they had a soul, and they responded with a rich profusion of blooms. This deep connection to botanicals was passed down to me and became one of the reasons why most of my work incorporates them.

 

My aim is to capture the essence and energy of each flora and provide pieces that speak to your soul.
